Hello from Lisbon

We've spent the past few days driving and sight seeing and shopping. Betina has been a great host and Jana a fantastic tour guide. I have hundreds of pictures but here are just a few:

Google Maps

Google Maps - For those of you who have been unable or uninclined to download Google Earth, there's a web browser based version. It even works over dialup. You can see satelite photography and maps of any part of the world, use drag and drop to navigate, zoom in and out, search for addresses etc. It includes quite good maps of Dublin, and quite good photography of North Dublin City. Another feature of interest is maps and satelite photography of New Orleans before and after Katrina.

Violeta Arrives!

Violeta has arrived in Ireland! Thanks to Air France, three hours late. A very dull three hours for me waiting in the airport, but she is here in one piece and Andrea is delighted. Andrea's holidays have started.

They will have a couple of days without me though, because I'm going to London tomorrow morning. On Friday we'll be doing some shopping and traveling to Belleek Park for the weekend. Looking forward to our Trip to Lisbon next Tuesday!

Washington

I went to Washington DC for a couple of days. Very nice city, had a great time. Took some pictures - though not very good ones I'm afraid! Two galleries posted below...
